Wowsa!
Sorry to be absent from the online realm, but I ended up with walking pneumonia. Yes, you read that right! The old fashioned, Little House on the Prairie walking pneumonia complete with hard lungs and no breathing. It doesn't help that my side job consists of being outdoors at times--walking and training huge burly dogs in sub-freezing weather.
Which is exactly what happened last week, when temps were at least 10 degrees beneath the freezing mark and one of my regular clients, a 110 lb Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix decided he would LOVE to run in this kind of weather! Heh, who was going to stop him? Not me, that's for sure. I was too busy trying to figure out why I was coughing and having a hard time breathing and why it wasn't going away, since it was just a winter's cold, right?
So please forgive my absence, there is definitely more city farminess soon (like tomorrow)... Just trying to catch up with everything---but really, I haven't abandoned this blog, I promise!

Hope you are feeling better! They've closed some schools in our area due to the lovely flu. Lots of nastiness going around. Give yourself plenty of rest time so it will go away and put some Vicks on your chest :]

Aww, thanks Kimmie, that is so sweet! Wow! I don't think I've ever heard of a whole school being closed because of the flu! Yikes!
