It's a sorta farmy kinda love around here.....

Ok, ok, the title post isn't exactly true, but let me keep this little facade of me living on a farm up, ok?

Yes, I know those of you who live on a legitimate farm are rolling your eyes at me--heck, those of you in the suburbs with TREES are rolling your eyes. What can I say, I work in the arts: I've got lots of imagination!

I mean, look at this cute little cow at the top of the post. It's not my cow, obviously, but I found this story somewhere on AOL. It's actually a little ox and he was born with that mark and lives in Japan and his name is actually "Heart." So, how perfect can you get?

Anyway, this is really a little post about my Valentine's day. How was everyone's? I hope you had a wonderful time and that you had someone to be "Valentiney" with. Hopefully, no anti-Valentine situations going on where you are.

Now, because I've known what it's like, in the past, to have a LOT of anti-Valentine's day--where you swear that the holiday was probably created by some seriously narcissistic or masochistic fool--I have extended this cute little post over to my other blog (yes, it was JUST THAT good of a holiday). So if you want to see the way cuter and detailed version of that, hop on over.

Anyway, my sweet boyfriend has a sense of humor to combat my own (which is probably why he hasn't utterly been frustrated with the animal loving, fairy-tale obsessed, farm mongering Virgo that he lives with)....and sometimes this will show itself in the most demonstrative ways.

So when I told him, in a fit of frustration, to do something "unexpected" for Valentine's day (as opposed to your "typical" cards and roses--and yes, I know that I deserve a boohiss for that), here was his response, which I found when I went to the bathroom:

Yes, it is written on the toilet paper!

Haha, but you can't say it wasn't unexpected! We both had a good laugh about that.

Then, because he knows I am an imaginitive farmy sort, he bought me a fiddle, which I had been coveting for many months!

Can you hear me going "Squeeeeee" in delight? And, very girlishly, might I add? Now, you know it's love when a man will put up with the horrible grinding sounds of a violin being played incorrectly for months at a time!

So what about you? How was your Valentine's Day?
