Alrighty folks, today I am keeping with the tradition of Lovemongering--and am bringing to light two smaller candidates that I think need your help. By the way if you've not heard the story of Lovemongering, or how it came to be CLICK HERE.
The first candidate was brought to my attention through the blog of the lovely artist LEMONCHOLY. Her friend, and fellow artist Joanne Pierrotti needs your help. Her husband, Ron, recently lost his job, and the health benefits that come with it. Of course, it would be a horrible time to get sick--and Ron happens to have just been diagonosed with a brain tumor. Clearly, the surgical and medical costs will be steep, but Lemoncholy has set up a "Chip In" widget to her page to help raise money. Read the story HERE, and see JOANNE's BLOG as well, for some posts. If you want to "chip in," give as much or as little as you can!
Then, on Barb and Steve's The Big Red Barn--her neighbors, and Amish couple named Eli and Lizzie are suffering under the worry of Lizzie's complicated pregnancy. She has had to go to the hospital, and being of very humble origins, they will not be able to cover the expenses. Please read HERE and HERE and help if you can.
Many blessings to you!
