YIKES! I think I need to clone myself

Alright--I had SEVERAL really good subjects I should've started writing on Monday, but it has been a ridiculously busy week!

Lots of crafty stuff afoot. First, I managed to create these two rascals:

And, lucky me, someone paid for their "train fare" and off they went to a new home! Life was looking GOOD...

But then--it was A LOT of ordering bee supplies! We were officially supposed to be getting two packages of bees this weekend. The supplier was driving ALL THE WAY TO GEORGIA to pick up bees from a reputable supplier.

Everything was going smoothly--the bee equipment came in, and I had to go to our landlady's office--where the bee equipment was sent--and double check all sort of packages and paraphenalia. I WAS really excited! Except, then our supplier just emailed and said due to the bad weather, the supplier couldn't correctly package each bee family, and he may have to drive back without them! DOH! NO BEES!
I am hoping my landlady has a sense of humor about just spending $800 on hives, suits, bee stuff and bee medication. Somehow, I doubt it though, because even I'm grumpy...and I'm just here to take care of them!

I will try to order bees elsewhere, but I think the apiaries in the country are sold out already--or can't create enough bees because the bad weather and other stuff keeps killing them off. Gah! I could write a whole other post about the problems we will have without bees, but I'm just trying to figure out WHAT TO DO NEXT!

Anyway, I'll leave you on a positive note: Another reason I was a bit inundated was that I had to paint the logo, and set up a new DOLL SWAP on my art blog. Here is the logo for the

Ok, after this, I SHOULD be on track. Please forgive me, but next week I should start "Weedy Wednesday" and unveil a whole new schedule for blogging! I will be covering an interesting idea I have in the next day or two, as well!

Thank you for being patient!

Hey Becky! Thank you about the mermaids--err, merfish :)

Haha, my landlady is sort of a "green" person--it was her idea to get the bees :)
